‘In Search of Miss Ruthless’
Para Site Art Centre

For Para Site Art Centre in Hong Kong, MetaObjects produced several videos for the In Search of Miss Ruthless exhibition curated by Hera Chan and David Xu Borgonjon. The exhibition used pageantry as a method by providing a platform for disporatic Asian artists who explore gender fluidity and queer identities through their work.

For the exhibition, MetaObjects shot and composited images of the works into an introduction video that was displayed in the entrance of Para Site and online. Additional video editing was done for the workshops and performances as documentation of the satellite events at Spring Workshop and Ullens Centre for Contemporary Art in Beijing.

The exhibition was on display from 2 July until 10 September 2017.
